Come learn more about conservation practices and network with other farm women in your region! Laura Grunwald and her family believe that the distance from the field to your fork should be a short one. The Gruwalds work with Mother Nature to raise organically grown and nutritious fruits, free range/orchard grazed eggs, and cider. Women Caring for the Land was designed by the Women Food & Ag Network to serve women farmland landowners who are interested in learning more about conservation. Research has shown women value women-only meetings with their peers. These events provide women landowners and farmers the opportunity to network with their peers and learn from resource professionals. For these reasons, we do request that the early portion be women only . We do recognize though that men are also interested in learning more about conservation opportunities, therefore they are welcome to join for the potluck dinner and farm tour at 6. Potluck Dinner (Bring a dish to pass!) Registration and networking start at 3:30pm
