Pulling Together - A Community Conversation

We’re inviting all to attend a special community event at Market on River in Chippewa Falls on Friday, October 17th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event is free and open to everyone, so please help spread the word within your chapters and communities. Join us for an engaging session based on the new book Pulling Together: A Handbook for Community Change by Tom Mosgaller and Mike Breininger. The book shares real-life stories of how everyday people can move from ideas to collaboration, build trust across divides, and create lasting positive change in their hometowns. This 90-minute session will feature: An introduction to Pulling Together from the authors, including the story behind the book and a practical framework for driving change in local communities. A discussion with Jeff Yost, President and CEO of the Nebraska Community Foundation, who contributed the book’s foreword and a chapter. Jeff will highlight how philanthropy, leadership, and community action have transformed more than 270 hometowns across Nebraska. Q&A and book signing with the authors and Jeff Yost, along with opportunities to learn about the Pulling Together workbook and upcoming workshops. This session is designed for anyone who cares about building stronger, more connected communities—neighbors, civic leaders, educators, faith leaders, business owners, and beyond. Come ready to listen, share, and imagine what’s possible when we pull together.
