Greenleaf - Women Caring for the Land 2019

Sept. 19, 9am-3pm, Greenleaf Fireman’s Park, 1588 Fair Road, Greenleaf. We’ll start this event out at the park and have lunch before a tour of local farms’ cover crop and no-till practices. Hear the lessons learned by Mary Ann and Kurt Kohlmann and daughter Susan Wilson in their first three years of grazing. The family raises steers and chickens and has converted cropland into pasture, improving water quality on the land.
