We’re inviting local farmers and food producers to host a table where you can talk directly with consumers about what you grow, how you raise it, and how they can buy it from you. Whether you sell through a CSA, subscription, farmers market, meat share, whole or half animal, farm store, direct ordering, or another model, this is a chance to help people discover how easy it can be to buy food directly from a local farmer. We envision a casual, market-style event where consumers can:
- Meet the farmers behind their food
- Learn where and how their food is produced
- Ask questions about farming and food safety
- Find out how to purchase directly from local farms
- Sign up for CSAs, meat shares, subscriptions, or other purchasing options
This fair is intended for people to sign up for future products and provide education on how to purchase products directly from local farmers.
Tabling will occur on the second floor of MOR in the WFU office. The November Market at MOR will be happening at the same time in the open space on the second floor.
$15 to register as a vendor, must be a member.
Free to attend as a shopper.
Located in the WFU office on the second floor of Market on River.
