Budget Hearing Testimony Training

WFU is providing an overview of testifying at the JFC Budget Hearings and time to write and practice your testimony. 

You are invited to join us on Wednesday, April 9th at 7:00pm to prepare for the final two JFC Budget Hearings that are taking place on Monday, April 28th in Hayward, and Tuesday, April 29th in Wausau. We will be focusing on testimony to fund the Wisconsin Local Food Assistance Program. Learn more about the WI LFPA program on the WFU Website. 

We will hear from Government Relations Director Michelle Ramirez-White about what the testifying process is like and from Communications Director Tommy Enright will be talking about messaging to make your story more powerful.  This call will also include work time to write your testimony and practice reading it out.
