2026 Chippewa Chapter Annual Meeting

Description

Join the Chippewa County Farmers Union for a tour of Siverling Centennial Farm, followed by dinner and our annual chapter meeting. Jared Siverling and Vanessa Klemish will show us their 320-acre family farm, which has been in the Siverling family since 1914. The certified-organic farm raises field crops, rotationally pastured beef, vegetables, and other farm products.

After the tour, the chapter will provide hot sandwiches and additional food for dinner. During the annual meeting, members will discuss policy priorities for the coming year and select chapter leadership and delegates to represent the chapter at the Wisconsin Farmers Union Winter Conference in Appleton. Members and others interested in Farmers Union are welcome to attend. 

Agenda is as follows: 

5:30–6:30 PM — Farm tour
Jared Siverling and Vanessa Klemish will lead a tour of Siverling Centennial Farm.

6:30–6:45 PM — Dinner / social time
Hot sandwiches and sides provided by the chapter.

6:45–7:30 PM — Annual meeting

• Welcome and brief year-in-review
• Treasurer’s report
• Policy resolutions and priorities
• Chapter officer elections
• Selection of delegates for Winter Conference
• Upcoming chapter events and plans
• Member input and ideas for the coming year
• Any other required annual meeting business
