2026 Chapter President Meeting

Description

Please register for the WFU Chapter Presidents meeting on November 7th at 10:00 AM in Wausau. 

• The meeting will be held in the Jefferson Ballroom at the Jefferson Street Inn, located at 201 Jefferson Street, Wausau, WI 54403
• We hope to wrap up by 4:00pm that afternoon.
• Lunch will be provided.  

As a reminder, only one vote per designated unit representative is permitted at this meeting with a roll call voting system to take place on motions. 

• If the Chapter President is unable to attend this meeting, please designate a different representative for your chapter.  
• WFU covers the mileage reimbursement for the Chapter President or their representative

Why do we have a Fall Meeting? 

• According to WFU Bylaws, page 19, Article X, Section E: The county presidents, collegiate-local presidents and county-local presidents shall serve as an advisory committee to the state board of directors. They shall meet with the state board at least twice during the year and shall sit in advisory capacity with the purpose of formulating policies and promoting the growth of Wisconsin Farmers Union. The county presidents, collegiate-local presidents and county-local presidents shall also serve as the resolutions committee and districting committee and should meet no later than 20 days before the annual meeting at a time and place designated by the state president.
