EB Ranch - Women Caring for the Land 2019

EB Ranch LLC
Monday, July 15, 2019 (8:30 AM - 3:00 PM) (CDT)
Event Details

Come learn more about conservation practices and network with other farm women in your region!

Erin Link is both a steward of the land and of a herd of critically endangered and rare San Clemente Island Goats. She rotationally grazes the goats as well as geese, ducks, chickens, and turkeys. Erin also markets goat milk soap and goat meat.

Women Caring for the Land was designed by the Women Food & Ag Network to serve women farmland landowners who are interested in learning more about conservation. Research has shown women value women-only meetings with their peers. These events provide women landowners and farmers the opportunity to network with their peers and learn from resource professionals. For these reasons, we do request that the morning portion be women only . We do recognize though that men are also interested in learning more about conservation opportunities, therefore they are welcome to join for the potluck lunch and farm tour at noon. Potluck lunch (Bring a dish to pass!) Registration and coffee networking start at 8:30 am.
