Polk-Burnett County Run for Office Training

Description

Local townships and county boards in Polk and Burnett counties are struggling to fill seats and are especially lacking voices that can reason together and develop good policy. Wisconsin Farmers Union is partnering with Wisconsin Progress to share how you can get started and run a successful campaign. Hear from a panel about their experiences running for office. It's easier than you think!

The training will offer a crash course in campaign planning for local candidates, including the basics of getting ready to run, connecting with voters, and fundraising.
