About:Jane and Dave Mulroy’s family farm was established around 1848. Irish Acres is a working, teaching, awakening family farm. The Mulroys host AirBNB guests in a tiny house on their property and offer their barn as a gathering space. They welcome visitors on the farm, and offer tours, classes and crafts. Their farm practices are organic and biodynamic. The farm is also home to greenhouses and an heirloom orchard.
Women Caring for the Land was designed by the Women Food & Ag Network to serve women farmland landowners who are interested in learning more about conservation. Research has shown women value women-only meetings with their peers. These events provide women landowners and farmers the opportunity to network with their peers and learn from resource professionals. For these reasons, we do request that the early portion be women only .
Registration and networking start at 10:00am. Potluck lunch at noon, bring a dish to pass!
All are welcome! Please RSVP by clicking on the link at the upper right hand corner.
